Christmas World sells fresh-cut real Christmas trees grown at our Dural farm at our Belrose, Alexandria and Penrith stores. Real trees are available seasonally for in-store pickup only; we don’t deliver them to homes. Check store hours and availability before you visit.

Our standard opening hours are Monday to Friday 10am–5pm, Saturday 9am–5pm and Sunday 10am–4pm, though hours can vary slightly by store. Check the Pickup Locations section above for each store's current hours before you visit.

Yes — our in-store team is on hand at all three locations to help you choose the right size and shape for your space, answer any care questions, and get your tree netted and ready to take home.

Our in-store team will net your tree to make it easier to carry and secure. We recommend bringing rope or tie-down straps and an old blanket or tarp to protect your car's interior or roof, especially for larger 7ft and 8ft trees.

Your live Christmas tree should last at least five weeks indoors with proper care. If you purchase your real Xmas tree around the end of November, it should remain green and full of life come Christmas day. To maximise lifespan, keep the tree stand filled with water at all times, position it away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunny windows, and follow our care instructions provided at purchase.

As soon as you cut the trunk, fill your real Christmas tree stand with water immediately. This step is vital because the cut end will seal over within hours if left dry. The faster your tree gets water, the longer it will last. Keep the stand topped up daily, position the tree away from heat sources, and avoid placing it in direct sunlight. Using one of our specially designed stands will also help maintain optimal water levels and prevent tipping.

Fresh Christmas trees benefit from humidity to remain bright and vibrant. Ensure yours has plenty of water in the stand at all times. You can also fill a spray bottle with room temperature water and gently mist the branches every few days. Always make sure your Christmas lights are switched off and unplugged before spraying, and allow the tree to dry before turning lights back on.

The best way to revive a dying real Christmas tree is to give it water immediately. Just like cut flowers, fresh Christmas trees need water to survive. Check that the water reservoir in the stand hasn't run dry, make a fresh cut on the trunk base if possible, and fill the stand with clean water. Move the tree away from heat sources and allow it time to rehydrate. In most cases, a well-watered tree will recover within 24 hours.

Fresh Christmas trees have needles that are firmly attached to the branch. Run your hand along a branch gently — if needles fall off easily, the tree may be past its prime. You can also check the trunk to see if it feels sticky with sap, which is a sign of freshness. The branches should be flexible when bent, and the tree should have a rich green colour with a strong pine fragrance.

Our real Christmas trees range from a compact 5 foot (150cm) to a statement 8 foot (240cm). We stock sizes in 1-foot increments: 5ft, 6ft, 7ft and 8ft.

The most popular sizes for Sydney homes are 6ft and 7ft, which suit standard ceiling heights. For homes with high ceilings, our 8ft trees make a stunning statement. Pricing starts from $110.

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver fresh cut Christmas trees. All trees must be picked up in person from one of our three Sydney stores in Belrose, Alexandria, or Penrith. This allows you to personally select the perfect tree for your home and ensures it arrives in the best possible condition. Our team in store will help you net, load, and secure your tree for transport.

Our fresh cut USA style Christmas trees are available from 22nd November onwards at all three Sydney stores. We sell trees throughout December while stocks last. We recommend visiting early in the season for the best selection, especially for popular sizes like 7ft and 8ft. Our trees are cut fresh from our farm and delivered to stores regularly to ensure maximum freshness.
