01The Grand Entrance
Diwali begins at the front door. Frame the doorway in a warm curtain of light, run icicle lights along the eaves, hang a glowing star lantern and line the path with solar stars to welcome family, friends and good fortune inside.

How to style a Diwali display

Diwali FAQs
When is Diwali in 2026?
The main day of Diwali (Lakshmi Puja) falls on Sunday 8 November 2026, with celebrations across the five-day festival in the days either side. It's a great idea to have your lights up and tested the weekend before.
Which lights are best for a Diwali display?
Warm white and vintage gold lights give the soft, golden glow of traditional diyas, while multicolour curtain and fairy lights add a festive sparkle outdoors. Star lights are a lovely nod to the traditional star lantern. Browse the full Diwali edit for ideas.
Can I use these lights outside?
Many of our lights are made for outdoor use, and solar lights are designed to sit outside all season. Check the product page for each item's indoor or outdoor suitability before you install it.
Are battery and LED candle lights safe near my puja space?
LED candles and battery fairy lights run cool and have no open flame, which makes them a safer choice near curtains, florals and fabrics. Always follow the instructions that come with each product.
Can I see the products in store?
