Shipping & Delivery at Christmas World

Orders are dispatched from our warehouse within 24 to 72 hours, and normal delivery time is 1 to 7 days after dispatch (busy periods may add a little extra time). You can purchase in confidence knowing every order is packed and sent by our warehouse team, and tracking is included with every shipment.

Order Processing Times

A confirmation email showing that we have received your order will be sent automatically once you have completed checkout and payment verification has been validated.

Peak Season (1 October – 31 January)

Orders placed during the Peak Period are processed immediately and dispatched as soon as payment has been verified.

Off-Peak Season (1 February – 30 September)

Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday during this period are processed immediately, but filling of the order will occur on the next business day. Business days during Off-Peak Season are Wednesday through Friday, excluding NSW public holidays.

Where We Ship

We sell and ship products only within Australia — we do not make deliveries outside of Australia.

When entering your shipping information, please ensure you do NOT use a PO Box, a Post Office address, or Parcel Locker. Our third-party couriers do not deliver to PO Boxes, Post Office addresses or Parcel Lockers.

How We Ship

All orders are dispatched using a third-party courier service utilising independent contractors including (but not limited to) Sendle and Transdirect. We use reasonable efforts to deliver within the estimated time; however, delivery times are estimates only and commence from the date of shipment rather than the date of order. Weather delays and other unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery time.

Based on the height, weight or number of products purchased, your order may be delivered in separate shipments. We will send a tracking number for each shipment.

Deliveries do not require a signature. By placing your order, you agree to our couriers delivering your products and being given the authority to leave them in a safe location at the delivery address provided. Christmas World is not responsible for a wrong shipping address — please double-check your address at checkout.

If you have delivery instructions you would like passed to the couriers, add them in the 'special instructions for seller' area on the shopping cart page before checking out. We pass this information on to the courier company, though we cannot guarantee couriers will follow every instruction.

Shipping Rates

Standard Shipping

Standard shipping is a $18.99 flat rate Australia-wide, with free shipping on all orders over $199. This includes most Christmas lights, rope lights, decorations, novelty items, the entire solar light range, all inflatables, wreaths and garlands.

Larger Items

The $18.99 flat rate and free shipping over $199 exclude all artificial Christmas trees, large frame rope lights and other heavy or large items. Larger items are automatically calculated during checkout based on cubic measurement or weight (whichever is larger).

Regional Areas

Trees and large products may incur additional shipping charges when delivered to regional areas, to cover the extra handling, transportation and logistical requirements involved. Regional areas are locations outside our standard delivery zones, or areas considered remote or difficult to access, determined by postal code or geographical boundaries. For customers in regional areas we offer customised shipping quotes — contact our team on 1300 00 9627 for a quote.

The rates above apply to NSW, Queensland, ACT, Victoria and South Australia (deliveries can take up to 14 days in some cases). For Northern Territory and Western Australia, please allow 5–20 days for all deliveries.

Next-Day Delivery & Click & Collect

Next-day delivery is available for artificial Christmas trees in the Sydney metro area — call 1300 00 9627 to arrange it. Click & Collect is also available; call the same number to organise pick-up.

Tracking Your Order

Every shipped order includes tracking, sent to your email or mobile. You can also track your order via the Track Your Order link at the bottom of our homepage.

Cancellations & Change of Mind

Cancelling within 24 hours

It may be possible to cancel or change your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not started the packing process. Please contact our Customer Service Team on 1300 00 9627 or email support@christmasworld.com.au.

Please note: Christmas World does not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases. If you cancel, the team will issue a credit note for use on our website, valid for 12 months.

Change of mind on orders already shipped

If your products have already shipped, contact us within seven (7) days of receiving your order. Products must be returned unopened and in their original saleable condition, and you are responsible for return shipping costs. Once the products arrive back at our warehouse and their condition is confirmed, we will issue a credit note for use on our website.

Fresh-cut USA style Christmas trees are sold in store only — they are not available online and cannot be delivered.
